Our current projects
Go Further is one of our core values and it symbolizes our strive to always be on the edge of new technology.
We are proud and engaged partners in the following projects:

ThinC
2014-2017
The purpose of the ThinC project is to cast thin-walled aluminum parts that are high temperature resistant and generates less impact on the environment in the aerospace industry. The goal is to reduce the weight of an airplane engine by 25% without challenging the quality.
Partners:
Swerea SWECAST, GKN Aerospace, TPC Components

Adding II
2015-2017
Together with our developing partners in Adding II, we are investigating the possibilities to 3D print tools for high-pressure die casting.

Re-Optic
2017-2018
The focus of the Re-Optic project is to integrate casting process simulation in early phases of ordinary optimization where the design is created with topology optimization.
Partners:
Volvo, Holsbyverken, Altair, Fundo Components, GKN Aerospace, Swerea SWECAST, Jönköping University
