STØBERIET features NovaCast and ATAS MetStar

NovaCast is highlighted in the latest issue of STØBERIET, the industry magazine published by the Danish Foundry Society (Danmarks Støberitekniske Forening). The article focuses on how ATAS MetStar supports iron foundries in achieving more stable and predictable metallurgical process control.

Through thermal analysis — including cooling curves and their derivatives — ATAS MetStar provides real-time insights into melt quality. This allows foundries to identify risks such as porosity, shrinkage or chill tendency at an early stage and take corrective actions before pouring. As a result, foundries can reduce scrap, improve quality and increase energy efficiency.
